As I was putting Holland to bed tonight I tried to explain that I would be gone for a while and that she was going to get to hang out with her dad and play with her friend Annie a lot. She was very excited...about being able to play with her friend. She has also quickly learned the meaning of "party". When I told her she would get to go to Annie's Birthday Party when she woke up she started jumping up and down, '"Yay! Yay! Ha ha ha. Yay!". It was adorable. It's been really fun to get to see her excited about things. I wish I would do that. These days if I'm really excited about something I raise my eyebrows and say, "I am really excited." How boring I've become.
So, I guess I should say thanks to Holland for bringing excitement to our home. :)
By the way, I'm really excited to go see my sister in Texas! (My eyebrows are raised).
