Brooklyn's Blessing

We had our sweet little girl blessed this weekend in Nephi, Utah.  Her cousin London was being blessed on the same day and we decided to crash her party.  It turns out that it was a fantastic idea because I didn't have to worry about keeping up with Brittany's (London's mom) creativity and preparation.  She was completely prepared with fun kids straws and bubbles and she had a whole BBQ potluck put together with more food than anyone could eat.  Sunday was our sweets off day and I enjoyed every sweet thing I ate.  Yum!

The other fantastic part about crashing this particular party was having all the family there!  Most of my siblings were there and we had an aunt and uncle and even my grandparents made it!  What a fun surprise!  I wish we could have stayed and enjoyed them longer but we had to get home.  We made it home by 2:00am and that was only because we were lucky enough to only have to make one stop with the kiddos.

So, the blessing itself was swell.  I know that Brooklyn will bless our lives and I can imagine her as our little peace maker.  Let's see if I'm right, huh?

Here are some pics of our priceless angle and family:

Many people have commented on how wonderful that blessing day was. It was so enjoyable, and the babies were so amazingly pretty. I'll never forget it. Thanks so much for driving all the way here to help make it possible. Grandpa Andrus even mentioned the beautiful babies in his State of the Family Address. Incredible day!
