Beautiful Eyes and a Clean Nose

The pressure to be beautiful is greater than I realized.  My almost two year old decided she needed to put mascara on today.  She gets compliments for her eyes all the time but I guess it's just not good enough.  So, I'm eating my breakfast and trying to read the news paper when I look down at little Holla sitting on the floor putting my mascara on.  It's all over her eye lids, eye brows, and everywhere within the vicinity of her eyes.  It was too late to take it away and she wasn't hurting herself.  So, I shrugged my shoulders and decided against the battle.  "I may regret letting her get away with this", I thought.  Next thing I know, she's by Brooklyn.  "Holland! Don't you dare try and put that on your sister!"  I retrieved the mascara thinking I had saved Holla's little sister...pretty sure Holland was able to get a swipe or two in to decorate the two month old.  Luckily it didn't even phase Brooklyn.  The whole thing was actually pretty funny.

The mascara incident was not the first of the day.  Holland had already unrolled a whole bunch of toilet paper to "wipe Brooklyn's nose" with and it was all over.  I love my little girl but she sure has been testing me lately!

In order to survive the rest of the day we took a field trip to the Museum of the Rockies.  It was a nice change of scenery for a gloomy day.
