It's nice to be wanted...

After so much unknown for so long, April has proved a monumental month!  We had a beautiful and healthy baby girl and Jaret was offered two jobs!!!  He was first offered a position in a management training program with First Interstate Bank in Great Falls.  He accepted the offer not knowing whether or not he would be offered a position with the Bozeman PD.  It turns out that he was given a conditional offer with the PD and will have the job as long as he passes the background and psych test!

On Monday, Jaret called and declined the offer with the bank.  Tuesday, the CEO of the bank called him and asked him to reconsider giving him until Friday to decide.  He told Jaret that he was their top candidate and reminded him that he would be making more in the long run with the bank.  According to one of the ladies Jaret spoke with, the CEO hasn't called any candidates in ten years.  So, it was a big deal that he called Jaret.  I guess the CEO is a Stake President and he and Jaret had a pretty good connection during their interview.  Anyway, Jaret has been praying and thinking about it.  There are pros and cons to each career but Jaret is heavily leaning toward the police officer position.

All in all, we're grateful to have options and after months of rejection is nice to be wanted.
