Most of my fellow Bozemanites know what I'm talking about when I say "Holy Hail!". Our tornado weather today (or funnel cloud weather to be exact) produced an impressive meteor shower of ice that added plenty of texture to our cars. It was a little bit scary watching golf ball sized hail blow up when it hit the ground and other objects. It only took a few minutes to eliminate a few of our car and house windows.
Holland was on my and Jaret's bed and I was hanging out next to her on the computer. Jaret called and said I had 5 minutes to save the plants before golf ball sized hail took them out. I've been very into my small garden and devastated after each storm that has ripped my little plants apart. So, I was grateful for the warning. Lucky Holland awoke from the phone call and I knew that I couldn't accomplish my daring task with her by my side. So, I rushed her over to my trusty neighbors house. I then ran and grabbed a table to put over my plants and quickly realized that this was a ridiculous idea with how fast the wind was blowing. So, I threw the table by the shed and ran around grabbing various things that had already and were in the process of blowing away. I'm sure I looked pretty crazy going back and forth. I still hadn't gotten my windows up in the Jeep and panicked as I searched for my keys. Just as I found them and headed for the car the hail started. I jumped in and rolled the windows up as I watched in awe as giant sized hail blew up before me. I felt like the hail was a special effect in a movie. It hit the car windows so hard that I was sure they were going to crack. It turned out that the Jeep windows survived, but the Honda windshield didn't. It also took the first pane out of our kitchen and bedroom windows as well as Beth's and other neighbors windows. Beth actually lost two pains in the kitchen and had glass all over...even in her special birthday cake she was in the processes of preparing for her husband. Bummer. Our other neighbors, the Craws, shattered their back windshield.
Anyway, it was a damaging day with a few broken windows and our cars getting the chicken pox. Hmmmm.
We did have some fun today though. Jaret and I went and saw "Eclipse" in the theater with our friends, the Noonans. For some reason I am so into those movies. They're a lot of fun.

H-o-l-y cow Helma that's crazy! I'm so glad that none of you were hert. Sorry about the windows and windsheld that really sucks big time but if your renting at least you don't have to pay for the house windows just the Handa's window.
Good luck with it all :)
