My husband is a pretty upbeat guy, but I don't think I've seen him more excited about anything more than the little motorcycle he got a deal on. He grew up riding dirt bikes and for whatever reason I let him buy a bike because I knew he would love it so much. It wouldn't be much fun if I didn't go along, so we got me an even smaller bike for $150. We spray painted it hot pink. It's pretty sweet.
We're probably going to move! Yup far, far away down the street. Our good friends seem to be moving away from us one by one. So, we will follow them. With the help of good friends watching the kiddo, we were able to get the house in order to be approved for the transfer. We passed with flying colors and the Laurence Family will hopefully be in their knew home within a month!
Jaret, Holland and I spent some time out in the sun reading today. I finished a book for the first time since I can remember! This is a huge deal. It only took me since Holland was born eight months ago, but I'm just proud of finishing it! I have to give it up to my husband who played with Holland under and umbrella while I read out loud. The days of just relaxing in the sun without a worry are over. We now get to worry about screaming kiddos eating grass, dirt, ants, or whatever she can get her hands on...actually, Holla's afraid of the grass but I'm sure she'll get over that soon.
I had an epiphany today. It's about reading my scriptures. I was thinking that when I put my mind up to do something it pretty much always has an incentive attached to it. I will exercise if I know I am going to be competing in a basketball game. I will read a book if I know a good friend loaned it to me and will eventually want it back. I will read my scriptures if I need to research a question that a friend asked me about my religion. So, basically, I need to get more excited about missionary work which will give me a desire to learn about the gospel in return. I think.
