Laughing

The last couple of days have been a breath of fresh air.  When I am able to overcome barriers that I've set up for myself, I always feel refreshed when I can break them down.  I have a wonderful husband to thank for that.  I have a great connection with my husband.  I consider myself lucky.  He's everything I need and could ever want.  I love what he helps me become and I love how he inspires me to be better through his own ability to set and meet goals.  I'm sometimes slow to change, but he eventually helps me come around.  I feel like his ability to bring the best...and sometimes the worst ;) ...out of me makes me a better mother.

I was holding Holland today and playing around with her while watching a show.  She kept on trying to grab my earing only succeeding in pulling my hair out in small clumps.  Not that this makes me a better mother but I scared her. As she was going to grab my earing I growled and grabbed her in a playful way.  I started laughing because I was so surprised that she was so startled.  She started laughing and we both just laughed and laughed with our foreheads together.  It was so fun!  I love having that connection with her and while I was laughing with Holland I realized that there are only better days to come.  We'll have plenty to roll around on the floor about.  I'm excited for those days to come and I'm loving what I already see of them!

I agree that laughing with your kid is the funnest thing ever but it's even better for me when Me, Parker, & Jared are laughing hysterically all at the same time. That for me is when it turns to heaven on earth!
I'm so glad you are enjoying being a mother and a wife. Luv ya Helma!
