The look of Holland...

It just occurred to me that Holland is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.  The whole country is filled with lush, green fields and bright vibrant flowers.  This realization came as I was thinking of what vibrant eyes my daughter Holland has.  I've never seen any eyes like them.  Her irides are dark grey on the outer circumference and and very light grey (practically white) on the inner circumference around her pupil.  I hope they don't change too much because they're so fun to look at.  One of my favorite moments with Holland is while I'm feeding her her multi-grain cereal just before bed. As we both tell each other how "yummy" sugarless, multi-grain cereal is she will usually lock her eyes on mine and give me a great big smile...while cereal oozes out of course.

Someone told me the other day that Holland looked like a cabbage patch doll.  Others agree.  I can't tell.  Just like I can't tell whether or not she looks like me or Jaret.  Supposedly she looks like both of us...do we look like cabbage patch dolls then?   Hmmmm.  Welp, this little cabbage patch doll thinks she likes walking already and is instantly happy to have me or Jaret assist her around the living room for a few laps through out the day.  It's really cute to see her little legs work.  If only she'd roll over.

I don't think she looks like a Cabbage Patch Doll--she needs some cheek dimples for that...BUT...She is beautiful! I do love her grey eyes. :)
