Basketball Coaching

Yeah, I'm attempting to coach a 7th grade girls basketball team this season.  I say attempting because I only feel like I am actually a "coach" if I help each girl, in some way, to improve.  So far I'm loving it!  Ok, so I haven't actually coached yet, but we (the other 7th & 8th grade coaches for the district) have spent the first three days conducting try outs and dividing the girls into even teams.  We drew out of a "hat" (hand) and I'm excited about my draw!  I look forward to coaching these girls this season.  I love to see people grow and improve.  I think this will also help me become more sociable.  I will be dealing with giggly girls and it will be up to me to make a balle' out of each one of them!  Here's to basketball, we'll see how we do.  Go team!
