Christmas 2009

The Laurence Family Christmas was spent at the Haymonds in Herriman, Utah this year.  The house was filled beyond capacity with three different families: Haymonds, Laurences, & Gamangassos.  Jaret's sister Tiana made the trip out to visit and was a great sport about being in a home of people she hardly knew.  It was great for Jaret to spend some time with Tiana and I loved getting to know her.  It was sad for both of us as well as little Holland to see her leave.

Holland did a great job traveling and sleeping in a new bed.  She probably did better because of how many naps she had in a bed rather than a car seat I am normally running around town hauling the poor kid around).  Everyone seemed to eat her up....too bad the baby stage doesn't last forever.  It's nice when people want to hold her and give me a break ;)

Christmas day was fun and I received one of the nicest gifts anyone has ever given me.  Jaret made a DVD of some of my favorite people.  He had them record something they liked about me.  It was very special and I'll probably watch it on my down days.

Jaret also got me Dominion.  I love that game!  I got him a Rock Band set that I had gotten a killer deal on.  It was fun to rock out on it!

Merry and Scott were wonderful hosts and it was fun to see all of the family again.  Half of the family was sick and Jaret managed to catch something but we loved being there.  I feel like I actually had a relaxing vacation. I was very sad to leave my sisters again.  Absence really does make the heart grow fonder.
