The Temple vs. guilt

I went to the temple with Jaret today and did sealings.  We were able to leave the kiddos with a baby sitter and have a very peaceful drive free of kicking, screaming, rage, tension, and whining.  Jaret and I read from the book, "Parenting With Love" (which I am loving and recommending to everyone...plus it's under 100 pages!) and while Jaret took a nap I just drove and thought.  It was so peaceful.  We didn't have anything we had to rush for and we got to take our time in the temple.  It was really nice to be able to do sealings again.  It strengthened my testimony of eternal marriage and I enjoyed the time to be with Jaret.

Here's where the guilt comes in.  Jaret and I went to Golden Coral...must I say more?  Yes? Ok, ok. I glut myself.  I love, love, LOVE their rolls and honey butter.  They also have one of those chocolate fountains and I enjoyed some rice crispy treats coated in chocolate.  What I wasn't ready for was when I took a bite of heavenly fried coconut.  Oh yum. I told Jaret that the spirit was pushed away to make room for the extra food.

Overall, though, our experience was super beneficial and bonding.
