Holland has started to say quite a few new things. This last week has been a bit of a language break through for her in many ways. One of the comments I get to enjoy on a daily basis now is, "my mommy". It's really cute when she wraps her arms around me and says those two little words. It's also amazing what the reply "Okay" can do for a short conversation. When I'll explain something to Holla she has started to say "Okay" instead of fall to the ground in a tantrum. The tantrums are still there, but she's dispersing them more creatively now. Anyway, I'm really pleasantly surprised when she tells me "okay". Holland gives the best hugs.
Brookly is quite the cuddle button these days too. She enjoys just hanging out and attacking anything within reach. I love to just hold her all rolled up in a ball in my arms. She's always full of smiles and is such a content little girl. She's my relief in the day. There are very few times when I don't get a smile from my darling little girl when I look for one.
I love loving my sweet babies. They're growing fast and I feel like my preoccupation with life is making me miss out. I guess this is a good time to recommit myself to enjoying my girls as much as I can.
That reminds me, Holland has begun to put legos together. It's super cute to watch her little mind work as she stacks them up. She loves it! She's also been enjoying putting the wooden train tracks together and loves even more to destroy the tracks that I build ;)
Holland has been doing a fantastic job of staying in her new toddler bed. Jaret and I are very surprised that she stays and very proud. The poor graduate can't seem to stop from falling out of it though. I heard a thump in the middle of the night last night and went in to dry her tears and ended up sleeping next to her while she held my hand. We've already heard a thud tonight and the night is young. She seemed to recover from this one a little more than last nights.
These are the good moments of being a mom. I love and adore my little girls. I love being unconditionally loved by them. Sometimes I come down hard on Holland but she never fails to show me how much she loves me in spite of getting in trouble. I hope that never changes.

You do have sweet girls! They still love us no matter how much trouble they get in. I'm grateful for that! I love your sweet, beautiful girls.
