Brookly

Brooklyn is such an active yet super good baby.  She makes having two kids possible and even pleasant.  She's so content for so much of the time that I find myself forgetting that she's right there in the same room sometimes.  Content is a good word to describe her.

Ravenous is also a good word to describe Brookly.  The kid can suck!  We've been giving her a taste of some new foods and trying a sippy cup out on her and she frantically tries to devour whatever we put within reach.  It's entertaining and startling.  If we take it away and she's not done, "AHHHHHHH".  It's not a cry it's a a screeched yelp.   You give it back and she's immediately happy.

The last word that I choose for kiddo number two is active.  She loved tummy time (believe it or not) and is getting really good at turning herself around and rolling from her back to her tummy and back.  We put Holland in her new toddler bed donated from our friends, the Masses, and let Brookly play in Hollands old crib and she almost reminded me of a pig rolling around in the myer.  Back and forth, back and forth she rolled from side to side.  It's so fun to see her making these milestones!

Holland has done a fantastic job in her new bed for the past two days.  I'm curious to see if it sticks.  She already discovered that she could get out and play at nap time but I only had to go in once to coax her back into bed.  The question is whether or not she will realize how much freedom she's really been given and put up a good fight in the future.

I'm so proud of my little girls.  I'm enjoying writing this because I'm actually taking the time to think about and realize how much my little girls are progressing.  I'm usually too busy to do that during the day.  Before I know it they will be all grown up.  Wow.  I still can't believe I'm a mom.  Though I don't always, today is a day I love it.

BTW-Holland is doing a fantastic job with her potty training as well.
