Welp, here's my boring update. Hey, I'm finally writing something. Back off!
After hours...and hours...and hours of shredding foam we finished shredding our big, thick rolls into coin sized pieces. I got 12 bags of batting on sale at JoAnnes for 90% off. Yes please. It cost me like seven bucks. So, between the batting and trillions of little foam pieces our bag is now.....half full. We'll have to wait for some more foam to come up, but for the mean time we're making good use of our bag as a lounger and even a blanket. I'm likin' it. I will like it even more when it's full ;)
Jaret and I are loving our house. We're also loving that we get to grow old in it together ;) We're slowing completing our small projects. So far we've put up coat hooks in the closet and laundry/mud room. Jaret's built himself a work bench in the garage out of scrap lumber we claimed before it was thrown out or burned. We got a whole bunch of 2x4's by cutting up around seven over-ordered trusses. It will hopefully help in the building of our shed. We still have plans to put the shelf we painted up in our laundry room with a place to hang clothes (I'm super excited about it), we're going to build a bookshelf in our bedroom, and I'm still unpacking. Unpacking takes FOREVER! Especially because I'm lazy and don't take to do it.
We've finally resorted to a chore chart. Hope it works. Our house can get pretty messy.
Jaret and I are trying to get into our new callings in cub scouts. He's a Webelos Den Leader and I am a Cub Master....of knowing nothing. Actually, there have been plenty of people who have gone out of there way to help inform me of my duties. We just finished up with the Pinewood Derby and are now in the process of preparing for the Blue & Gold Banquet. I guess it's supposed to be a huge shindig. Nothing like jumping in with both feel. It looks like everyone has a lot of fun in scouts.
I'm bored with this so I'm sure that if anyone else has gotten to this point (congratulations) is to. I'm going to stop.
...oh, last thing. Jaret and I watched Contagiam yesterday. It seems like all of my friends are getting really sick...should we quarantine ourselves? Is the world ending?
